Qualifiers:
1. Offeror shall provide a commercially available product meeting the performance and specifications of the item identified.
2. Will the Offeror provide all of the items as listed with specified manufacturer and item numbers?
If no, Offeror shall submit a detailed specification and test report that illustrates equivalent requirements.
Specifications:

Specifications shall meet or exceed those of the Modular Force Stage (MFS) from Linkam Scientific Instruments, including but not limited to:
- Designed for use with both optical microscopy and transmission small-angle x-ray scattering
- Ability to mount with vertical orientation for transmission small-angle x-ray scattering
- Compatibility to both in-air and in-vacuum operations; the stage shall be able to operate in air and under rough vacuum when placed inside a vacuum chamber, typically at ~0.01 mbar
- Ability to measure both tensile and compressive forces
- Ability to measure stress-strain curves with tensile force in the range of 0 to 200 N
- Tensile/compressive motion with encoders with distance resolution of 1 micrometer or better
- Temperature range: -196 degC to 350 degC in air, to 250 degC under vacuum
- Heater block shall have a hole for transmission x-ray scattering measurements; the hole dimensions shall be 5 mm along the stretching direction and 2 mm transverse to the stretching direction

Equivalent Guidelines
