The Defense Logistics Agency, DLA Maritime Norfolk Naval Shipyard Contracting Division intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract for not to exceed (45,000) gallons of liquid argon to be delivered during 25 July 2014 to 24 July 2015 in accordance with government's statement of work to be used at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, Virginia. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 325120 Industrial Gas Manufacturing. This requirement will be 100% set-aside for small business.

The contract line item (CLINs) is as follows.
CLIN 0001 (1) 45,000 gallons not to exceed liquid argon to be delivered for 12 months starting in 25 July 2014 with delivery require with 24 hours of notification. Liquid argon will be stored in the Government's owned 6,000 tanks. See solicitation for statement of work.

This procurement will be processed in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The solicitation number is SPMYM1-14-Q-0072 and it is expected to be posted on or about 07 April 2014 and posted in fedbizopps, https://www.fbo.gov/.
