The Department of Transportation will retain a qualified engineering firm for a project specific open-end agreement to provide construction inspection staffing for federally aided municipal projects managed by a local public agency. Inspection staff will be under the direction of the local project manager. All projects will be located within the geographical boundaries of Engineering District 8-0. This agreement may include roadways, sidewalks, trails, local enhancements, bridges and any other work required for a municipal led project. The agreement will be for a period of 3 years with a maximum cost of $4,500,000.00. The inspection staff will include 12 TCIS's, 6 TCI's and 1 Coatings Inspector.
