Plano Independent School District is requesting proposals for Local Retail, Discount & Grocery Stores. In order to be in compliance with the State laws in regard to purchasing, the Plano Independent School District (Plano ISD) is seeking percentage discount from local retail stores, membership discount stores and local grocery stores to fill immediate needs of the schools and various departments of PISD. Purchases are for official use only and not for personal use. The estimated expenditure for this district-wide contract is approximately $700,000 annually. Plano ISD reserves the right at any time during the term of this bid to obtain supplemental bids at the sole discretion of the District. TERM: Plano ISD requires this proposal to be firm for an initial eight (8) year term from award date and will automatically renew in one (1) year increments until either party chooses not to renew with a ninety (90) day written notice.
