Wylie Independent School District is currently accepting proposals from organizations to provide provisions of general supplies students and staff and to comply with state bid law requirements. Vendors that currently have a contract with the district for Local Retail & Grocery Store Discount should not respond. The goal of this RFP is to establish non-exclusive, as-needed vendors for local purchases of general (day to day) supply/service grocery and retail needs to include general merchandise and grocery purchases. Wylie ISD reserves the right to request post-proposal modifications, including best and final offers, as well as post-proposal vendor meetings. Wylie ISD also reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive all technicalities and informalities, to be the sole judge of quality and equality, and to accept the proposal(s) that is determined to best meet the needs of the District. Awards will be based on what, in our opinion, provides the best value based on criteria & specifications The District expects to award this solicitation to multiple suppliers based on the Award Evaluation Criteria, services provided, the needs of the District and the responses to the RFP attributes and line items. This proposal is tentatively scheduled to be awarded by the Wylie ISD Board of Trustees on September 22, 2020. The term of this contract shall be an annual contract, automatically renewable each year until either party notifies the other party in writing as specified in this agreement of its intent to terminate this agreement in which case it shall terminate 60 days from the date of notice. Electronic submission is preferred through the District’s e-bidding system, IonWave or three (3) complete hard copies of the proposal with original signatures may be submitted to the proposal coordinator.
