THIS IS A MARKET SURVEY REQUESTING INFORMATION IN SUPPORT OF THE FOLLOWING PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENT. No contract will be awarded from this announcement. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. Also, it is not a request seeking contractors interested in being placed on a solicitation mailing list. Response to this questionnaire is voluntary and no reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Market Survey and any follow-on information requests. Data submitted in response to this "Program Manager, Force Projection - LOCB bridge and OCONUS equipment support" will not be returned. No solicitation document exists at this time, and calls requesting a solicitation will not be answered.
The anticipated requirement is for 3-6 months of services supporting equipment fieldings, disposition, and RESET in the CENTCOM Area of Operations (AOR) for multiple product offices under Program Manager (PM), Force Projection (FP). This mission supports PM Construction Equipment/ Material Handling Equipment (PM CE/MHE), PM Petroleum and Water Systems (PM PAWS), PM Bridging, PM Force Sustainment Systems (PM FSS), PM Sets, Kits, Outfits and Tools (PM SKOT), PM Tools, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (PM TMDE), PM Unmanned Ground Vehicles (PM UGV), and PM Applique and Large Unmanned Ground Systems (ALUGS). PM FP products are low density and in high demand. Tracking and expediting these products into and out of the AOR while maintaining the high volume of various materiel classes of supply being processed through designated facilities is critical to the operational pace in extremely hostile environments. Continuously evolving policies of multiple Government organizations with overlapping lines of authority impact both equipment and personnel movements within the AOR. The LOC-B/Tactical bridging system support provides training, inspection, and processing of equipment.
