The 501st Combat Support Wing has a requirement for the the construction of a drive through vehicle inspection shelter, Large Vehicle Inspection Station (LVIS) point, located at RAF Fairford, United Kingdom.
In accordance with FAR 36.204, the disclosure of magnitude for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000.

This is a pre-solicitation notice only. A formal solicitation is not being issued at this time, however the anticipated solicitation issue date will be on or after 18 August 2021.
Funds are not presently available for this effort. No solicitation nor award will be made under this notice until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this notice, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this notice, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
General Information:
The scope of work involves, but is not limited to: Construct Fabricated Steel Structure to include roller shutter doors and Lighting. Basic details are provided in Attachment 1 - Draft Statement of Objetives. Further details will be provided with the solictation.
Completed works must comply with the Unified Facility Guide Specifications (UFGS) or British Standards. Where British standards conflict with American standards, the more-stringent standard shall take precedence.
Offerors must be Authorized Persons, in accordance with UK Ministry of Defence Joint Standard Publication (MoD JSP 375), Management of Health and Safety in Defence Volume 3 Chapter 2: Common Requirements.
Site Visit:
A site visit is contingent upon offeror interest, no definite date has been determined yet. Interested vendors must submit names of attendees no later than 28 August 2021, to allow coordination and issuance of temporary base passes. Interested offerors should submit no more than three attendees. Attendees must have a valid government-issued form of identification, and consent to a background check. Should a site visit occur, the designated meeting area is the Visitor Control Center.
At a minimum, attendees must supply identification that lists:

Make and Model of Vehicles
Vehicle Registration Number
Driving License
Failure to provide any of the request information will result in refusal of base access. Should a site visit occur, the designated meeting point will be the Visitor Control Center immediately outside of the gate.
