The Army Contracting Command-New Jersey, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ, on behalf of the Office of the Project Manager Combat Ammunition Systems, intends to issue a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed-Price modification for the manufacture and delivery of the M734A1 Multi-Option Fuze for Mortars and the M783 Point Detonating/Delay Mortar Fuzes. The modification shall be issued under current contract W15QKN-17-C-0024 with L-3 Fuzing and Ordnance Systems. This modification will increase the current contract value by approximately $204M for all requirements through 30 January 2022 and will be issued under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1); as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(B), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The initial purchase will require delivery in Fiscal Year 2020 at a monthly rate of approximately 33,000 each. Funds are available for this acquisition.
