The Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM), Portfolio Manager Ground Combat Element Systems (PfM-GCES), Program Manager, Fires (PM Fires), Tank Systems, Quantico, VA, has a requirement to procure 368 new utility chains and associated destructive testing for the M88A2 vehicle.
The unit of issue will be "each." The chains will be Inspection and Acceptance at Destination, with delivery to multiple CONUS locations no later than 90 days after award. These items are being procured on an unrestricted basis.
The Government intends to issue a written request for quotation using FAR Part 12, Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All interested parties may submit a quote. Contractors interested in doing business with the Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (http://www.sam.gov/). The solicitation will be available through the GPE (www.fbo.gov) on or around 18 February 2019, with an anticipated award date on or around 23 March 2019.
