This is  a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals. Naval Medical Research Center (NMRC) intends to solicit a proposal and enter into a contract with Luminex. The statutory  authority for this sole source procurement is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) per FAR 6.302-1(c).

The NAICS code for this action is 541711. This requirement will be procured under the guidelines of FAR Part 12, Commercial Items. NMRC requires that all contractors doing business with the Materials Management Office must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR).  No award can be made unless the vendor is registered in CCR.
