THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT, NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. A SOLICIATATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. The Clinical Center at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Material Management Department (MMD) intends to solicit a proposal and enter into a contract with CareFusion Solutions, LLC., 3750 Torrey View Court, San Diego, CA 92130, a contract for Maintenance and Support on 1,023 Alaris Large Volume Pumps (LVP) for a period of one year starting Novemember 16, 2010 – November 15, 2011. CareFusion Solutions, LLC is the manufacture and sole proprietor of the Alaris Pumps. This is the only company able to provide OEM parts, software and hardware upgrades, clinical and technical customer support and address all recalls that may affect the devices. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal. However, the Government shall consider all responses received prior to the closing date of this announcement.
