The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Biocare Medical LLC, 4040 Pike Lane, Concord, CA 94520, for continued maintenance on five Lab Vision 360-2D Autostainer units, S/Ns LVMI-LV1.3-0329, LVMI-LV1.3-0330, LVMI-LV1.3-0384, LVMI-LV1.3-0237, and LVMI-LV1.3-0310, and one IntelliPATH Autostainer, S/N BCIP01-0234. This covers all repairs and preventive maintenance of systems and computer hardware (software and instrument upgrades are provided for IntelliPATH instrument only), labor, application support, parts and travel, with one (1) preventive maintenance inspection. Period of performance is June 1, 2012 through May 31, 2013, with payments in arrears only. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued. Interested persons may use e-mail to identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement before the expiration date of the advertisement.
