The Operational Contracting Office at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia intends to issue a sole source award to SIRSI Corporation, 3300 N Ashton Blvd, Suite 500, Lehi, UT 84043 for the renewal of annual maintenance to the library automatization system. The system is ILS SIRSI Unicorn Software. SIRSI Corporation is the only company capable of fulfilling the requirement. SIRSI Corporation is the sole publisher and provider of electronic access to the library automatization system and has proprietary rights.

The authority for this procurement is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.

Interested parties may submit technical packages via email to the Contract Specialist. Please reference number FA8501-14-Q-4192. The required date for receipt is no later than Friday, 29 August, 2014. The technical packages shall clearly provide evidence of ability to meet the requirement. Technical information will be evaluated solely for determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed acquisition on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. No RFQ/RFP will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent.

Period of Performance: 01 October 2014 - 30 September 2015 with four one-year options.
Contract Description: Maintain the ILS SIRSI Unicorn Software System and allow upgrades and updates as they become available.
