The Social security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate solely with Comcast of Maryland Limited Partnership, 8031 Corporate Drive, Baltimore, MD 21236 under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1 and 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements for the continued maintenance and support of the CATV Port Distribution System and related accessories. Support shall be required for one (1) year. These ports are installed throughout all buildings across the SSA campus and outlying buildings in Baltimore, MD. The CATV network provides real-time news and information for the entire SSA headquarters campus. This is not a request for quote; quotes submitted in response to this notice will not be considered. Interested parties that believe they can provide the required service must respond to this notice no later than 3:00pm EST September 30, 2008.
