The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to FEI Company, 5350 NE Dawson Creek Drive, Hillsboro, OR 97124-5793, for one-year Monday-through-Friday maintenance on a TECNAI12BT TEM TECNA1 electron microscope, Serial #D283 and AMT camera including image screen. Service will begin on April 1, 2012 and continue for no more than one year. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued.
