INFORMATION FOR POTENTIAL OFFERORS:
The Regional Maintenance Center at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF), Bremerton Washington intends to award a standalone Firm Fixed Price contract to accomplish the maintenance, repair and preservation of the Edgecumbe Barge.

The Contractor's facility must possess the capability of accomodating one (1) Edgecumbe Barge with the dimensions as stated above.
Coordinate with the Contracting Officer, via the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) to deliver the vessel from Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (PSNS) Bremerton, WA to the Contractor's facility. Dock, wash, and clean the exterior surfaces of the vessel upon docking. Blast, inspect and preserve Main Deck, forward raised deck, masts, deck fittings, pad eyes, lifeline sockets and tanks and covers. Remove and replace non-skid on line handler station. Open, clean and maintain dry each tank and void. Perform preliminary air test on tanks. Accomplish full preservation of all tanks. Accomplish a final closure inspection of each tank upon completion of all work. Install new gaskets, fasteners and brass air test plug fittings. Verify all stuffing tubes are packed and tight. Perform final air tests on tanks. Undock the vessel. Arrange and coordinate the delivery of the vessel back to the Government at PSNS Bremerton with the Contracting Officer via the COR. The precise Statement of Work (SOW) for the Edgecumbe Barge is included in this solicitation package as Attachment J-1.
The Contractor will arrange for and transport the vessel from PSNS & IMF to the Contractor's facility. Upon completion of all work, coordinate delivery of the vessel back to PSNS & IMF.
The Period of Performance is scheduled to be: 6 November 2018 to 5 March 2018.
