In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Defense Security Service (DSS) intends to award a Sole Source Firm Fixed Price contract to Paterva (Pty) Ltd. for Maltego licenses and annual Maltego license renewal.  The sole source determination is based upon Paterva being the only source capable of providing Maltego.  The requirement will be for a one (1) year base period with a potential of four (4) one (1) year option periods.

This notice of intent is not a request for proposals or quotations and a solicitation will not be issued; however, any challenges to this sole source must be received in writing and sent to [email protected] to be considered by the Government for the purpose of determining whether or not to compete the requirement.  Challenges must clearly demonstrate the respondent's capability to provide the product described in this notice.  A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  Responses must be submitted by E-mail to Shawna Mitchell: [email protected] no later than 3:00 p.m. EST on 16 September 2015.
