The Army Contracting Command-Rock Island (ACC-RI), on behalf of the U.S. Army Office of the Program Manager for Maneuver Ammunition Systems (PM-MAS) at Picatinny Arsenal, intends to award a sole source one year contract modification/extension (W52P1J-14-D-0006) to BWAY Corporation for the manufacture and delivery of M2A2 ammunition containers.  The Government intends to make an award for this requirement to BWAY Corporation under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1).  The resulting contract modification will be a one year extension of the Firm-Fixed-Price Requirements contract W52P1J-14-D-0006.  The maximum production rate of up to 150,000 M2A2 ammunition containers per month required under the terms and conditions of the contract is to be maintained. 

The notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider responses from all responsible sources received by the required response date and time identified in this posting.  Written responses must include sufficient information to establish capability to fulfill the requirement.  Any responses received will only be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in lieu of the sole source award described in this notice, and such determination shall be made at the sole discretion of the Contracting Officer.  Information regarding this notice may be requested from the Contracting Officer, Mr. Jeff Decker ([email protected]) and/or the two points of contacts listed in this notice (Mr. Mark Stevens and Mr. Kevin Gilmore).
