Sources sought synopsis announcement is issued to assist the 673d Contracting Squadron, JBER, Alaska, to determine the interest, capabilities and qualifications of potential businesses in performing Elmendorf Hospital Operations and Maintenance Services under Northern American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 561210. The tentative period of performance is a base period beginning 1 October 2012 with four options years.

This is not a request for proposal (RFP) and responses to this request are not proposals and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This is not a guarantee of a future RFP or an award. This document should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the Government. Any information provided to the Government in response to this document will become 673d Contracting Squadron property and will not be returned. The Government will not reimburse contractors for any cost associated with responding to this request.

JBER, AK is seeking interested sources capable of providing the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Services as described in this Draft Performance Based Statement of Work (PBSOW) at the 673 Medical Group and Veteran Administration (VA), Elmendorf AFB, Alaska. The contractor shall furnish all labor, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, transportation, and other items necessary to perform the Hospital Operation and Maintenance Services for the 673 MDG & VA as specified in the PBSOW, except for items listed in Section III and Appendix

Interested and qualified sources are requested to provide: (1) company name, point of contact, e-mail address, telephone and fax numbers, type and business size under the applicable NAICS code registered in CCR; (2) a list of the company's most recent and relevant (within the last three years) DoD or commercial contracts to include names, points of contact, phone numbers, value and type of contract, and brief description; and (3) information demonstrating the company's NAICS Qualifications and certifications.

Respondents are asked to limit submissions to ten pages or less. Any information provided is voluntary. All eligible firms responding to this Sources Sought must ensure their response is complete and sufficiently detailed to allow the Government to determine the firm's qualifications to perform this requirement. If you believe another NAICS Code is more applicable based on the above information, please so indicate and state the justification with your reply. All interested firms should notify this office in writing by mail, e-mail, or fax of your interest in this notice.
