The Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) currently has a need for a contractor to confirm radiological contamination is not present in several facilities, including include the Physical Sciences Laboratory (PSL), Engineering Development Laboratory (EDL), and Life Sciences Laboratory 2 (LSL2)at the Richland, WA campus and the Marine Sciences Laboratory 1 and 5 (MSL1 and MSL5) at the Sequim, WA campus. The contractor is expected to provide turn-key services by planning, executing,and certifying that the facilities are free of contamination using NRC (2000), the Multi-Agency Radiation Survey and Site Investigation Manual (MARSSIM) process in conformance with United States Department of Energy (DOE) Order 458.1, Radiation Protection of the Public and the Environment.
