The project consists of repairing the storm damage on FSR 9031 (milepost 1.85, 3.1, 3.5) by disposing of wood debris, building up embankment and riprap reinforcement. Work includes but is not limited to: removal and disposal of waste, embankment, mobilization, road surfacing, and miscellaneous site work. The project is located on Forest Service Road 9031, Mason Lake, at M.P. 1.85, 3.1, 3.5 on the Snoqualmie Ranger District in Township 22 N, Range 10E, Section 6 and 8. The project can be reached from North Bend, WA by travelling east on Interstate 90 for 15 miles to Exit 45. Turn north onto Forest Service Road 9030 for approximately .8 mile. At the fork, continue west for 1.85 miles to the first project site. A District map is available for viewing and/or purchase at the Forest Service office at North Bend. Estimated issue date of the Solicitation is on or about May 12, 2010. Estimated start work date is approximately June 15, 2010. Contract work time is approximately 30 days.
