This notice is issued to obtain commercial sources qualified and interested in providing a commercial item proposal for Ellsworth AFB SD. A solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 25 April 2008. The solicitation may be obtained by downloading through the Electronic Posting System (EPS) (Vendor). Hard copies will not be available. Offerors must register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), online at https://www.bpn.gov/CCR/scripts/index.html and must also register at the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) website https://orca.bpn.gov/. Only one contract will be awarded prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.602 for the following:

One (1 ea), four cell omni-directional speakers assembled in a vertical column with Whelen EZ-Pull driver; model SPK2904 with associated cables and parts specific to model/part number provided. DO NOT include pole top bracket in your pricing.

Three (3ea), nine cell omni-directional speakers assembled in a vertical column with the Whelen Ez-Pull driver: model SPK2909; with associated cables and parts specific to model/part number provided. DO NOT include pole top bracket in your pricing.

Four (4ea), five cell omni-directional speakers assembled in a vertical column with the Whelen Ez-Pull driver: model SPK2905; with associated cables and parts specific to model/part number provided. DO NOT include pole top bracket in your pricing.

The contractor shall provide for all supplies and shipping costs to fulfill the requirement. The delivery date is to be determined upon award of contract. The upcoming solicitation will be a 100% set-aside for Small Businesses. All responsible sources may submit an offer. The North American Industry Code is 334220 and the Small Business Size Standard is 750. The Government will award a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: lowest price technically acceptable. No phone calls will be taken on this solicitation until it has been publicly released.
