Perform Research in the field of Mathematical Methods for Improved Metamaterial Design and Optimization and provide necessary documents/software and support programs regarding the applicability of Metamaterial programs available within the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) or public domain.  

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(2) and FAR 6.302-3(a)(2)(ii).  This synopsis is being published for informational purposes only.  This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all responses received within THREE (3) business days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the Government.  Further determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
