The FAR, DoD supplements (DFARS), and Air Force FAR supplements (AFFARS) do not apply to Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) procurement except as required by AFMAN 34-302 and AFI 64-301. Only those clauses required by law or otherwise stated in AFMAN 34-302 shall be mandatory. It is the offeror's responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 812111 with a small business size standard of $6.5M.

The purpose of this contract is to provide a Barbershop concessionaire within Maxwell Collocated Club (Maxwell Events Center) Bldg. 742 on Maxwell AFB for a base period of one year beginning 1 Oct 2008 and ending 30 Sep 2008 with four one-year option periods. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm with (1/2 hour lunch). The NAFI will provide free of charge at existing outlets all necessary utility services required for the performance of this contract. The contractor shall carefully conserve utilities furnished. The contractor will be responsible for all of the charges to the direct telephone line (953-2953) located in the Barber Shop. Payment for this line will be deducted from the end of the month payment to the contractor. The Commander of 42d Services Division will determine prices and increases.

This contract does not involve federal tax dollars. The concessionaire contract for the Maxwell Collocated Club Barbershop, Maxwell AFB, AL will be awarded to the responsive responsible offeror who has at least five years experience being a barber and offers the greatest percentage of gross sales to the Maxwell AFB Non-Appropriated Funds Instrumentality (NAFI). For more details, please see attached documents.
