This is a commercial Sole Source combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i).  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.  The North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 334418. The small business size standard is 750.

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order for:

•1)   11 Multiplex Bus Fault Isolator (MBFI) Serial Interface Bus (SIB) test equipment to satisfy the needs of the F-22 maintainers throughout the world.

Mountain Tech Sales and Assembly Part Number 98747-965852-10 with controller card.

This is not a request for competitive quotes, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement and quotation.  Offers from firms other than Mountain Tech Sales and Assembly will only be considered when it can be determined prior to award that the items being offered will meet the Government's requirement.  Award will not be delayed pending technical acceptability determination.

This is a purchase of MBFI test equipment in support of the F-22.  This item is a component of a higher level testing assembly required by F-22 maintainers world-wide.  The customer requirement and ultimate deployment preclude the use of current Air Force inventory.  Spares and or reconditioned units are not acceptable for this supply buy.  The SIB must be built by an approved manufacturing facility.

Unless otherwise specified, the delivered SIBs shall meet or exceed the performance characteristics described in the "Performance Specifications" of the Statement of Work (SOW).

INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA
Deliveries will be DOA and will be inspected upon arrival by the Government.
