This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Medical Provider Services issued by the YWCA of Greater Los Angeles which operates the Los Angeles Job Corps (LAJCC) and provides a comprehensive residential and non-residential program to prepare poverty level youth, ages sixteen (16) through twenty-four (24) years of age for meaningful employment. LAJCC is responsible for the maintenance and basic medical services of the students enrolled in our program.

The LAJCC is seeking to engage a qualified Medical Clinic Service Provider / Subcontractor to provide direct medical support to students. The subcontractor will provide at least one physician coordinator and one physician senior fellow, or one physician assistant or a nurse practitioner to perform direct medical services for a minimum of 24 hours per week.

Services will be provided at LAJCC Health & Wellness Medical Clinic located at 1020 South Olive Street, Los Angeles, CA 90015. Medical Services will include physical exams, regular medical services along with emergency and urgent care services. The resulting subcontract from this solicitation will be for a period of one (1) year with four (4) each one year options to be renewed at the sole discretion of the Job Corps. .
No RFP's will be handed out at the mandatory job walk/pre-proposal conference. Offeror's must contact the point of contact for Pre-Proposal Conference information no later than July 25th, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in order to submit a proposal.

Proposals will be evaluated to determine if a fair and reasonable price can be negotiated. The projected start date for this subcontract is November 1, 2016. All offers submitted must be valid for 120 days from the closing date for this solicitation. No exceptions or qualifications
