This notice announces the intent by the U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis IAW FAR Part 13.106-1(b). The proposed source is Name of Proposed: Vyaire Medical, 22745 Savi Ranch Parkway, Yorba Linda, CA 92887. The US Army Research Institute of Environmental Medicine (USARIEM), Natick, Massachusetts mission is to procure Medical Vmax Encore 229C pulmonary function measurement system.  The Vyaire Medical Vmax Encore 229C is used to collect measurements of spirometry, lung volumes, breath-by-breath measures of VO2, VCO2, and VE, lung diffusing capacity (DLCO) during rest and exercise, inspiratory and expiratory maximal pressure, and airway resistance/reactance.. There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 339112 with a Small Business Size Standard of 1,000 employees.
