The 11th Contracting Squadron at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to Medtronic USA, Inc. for the service of the Medtronic Fusion ENT Surgical Navigation System in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). Medtronic USA, Inc is the sole manufacturer and sole distributor of the Medtronic Fusion ENT Surgical Navigation System. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 811219 with a size standard of $20.5M. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose if determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The government will not be responsible for any costs incurred in preparation of any capabilities statements or documents prepared for this notice.
