DISA/DITCO intends to issue a sole source contract to OpenText, 100 Tri-State International Pkwy 3rd Floor, Lincolnshire, IL 60069.  This acquisition is a procurement effort to renew the expiring software maintenance support for Metastorm BPM software products for DISA Field Security Operations.  OpenText has proprietary rights to the software code for the Metastorm software products associated with this requirement and is the only known source that can provide this maintenance support.  No other vendor or distributor can legally obtain access to the software, and no other vendor can make duplicate copies since it is protected by copyright and patent laws.

The period of performance will be from 01 October 2012 through 30 September 2013.  The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304( c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.  Companies who can provide the above listed software maintenance renewal must request a copy of the solicitation via email to [email protected].  Responses are due by 9:00 A.M. (Central Time) on 11 September 2012.  The resultant contract will be firm fixed price.  All responsible sources may submit a proposal that will be considered.  The NAICS code is 541519 for this procurement.
