DISA/DITCO, intends to issue a sole source contract to Metastorm Inc., 500 E Pratt St., Ste. 1250, Baltimore, MD 21202-3167.  This acquisition is for a follow-on procurement effort to renew the expiring software licensing and maintenance support for Metastorm software products for DISA Computing Services Logistics.  Metastorm has proprietary rights to the software code for the Metastorm software products associated with this requirement and is the only known source that can provide this maintenance support.  No other vendor or distributor can legally obtain access to the software, and no other vendor can make duplicate copies, since it is protected by copyright and patent laws.

The period of performance will be from 21 January 2011 through 20 January 2012.  The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304( c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.  Companies who can provide the above listed software maintenance renewal must complete the attached solicitation and return it via email to [email protected].  Responses are due by 5:00 P.M. (Central Time) on 14 January 2011.  The resultant contract will be firm fixed price.  All responsible sources may submit a proposal that will be considered.  The NAICS code is 511210 for this procurement.
