End Item: OHIO CLASS SSBN (TRIDENT). This requirement is for NSN 6635-01-485-9637, Meter, Density, Digit. This is a 3D item; the approved source for this procurement is Anton Paar USA, Inc., CAGE 0FW58 - P/N 84138.  The RFP will cover requirements for an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) for a 1-year base period and four, 1-year option periods.   

The solicitation will be issued as Sole Source procurement.   The RFP will be issued for an estimated annual quantity of 48 each for the base year and each option years.  Offers will be solicited with a delivery of 94 days ARO. Terms are FOB Origin with Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. DLA Direct requirements only.   Based on market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. The guaranteed minimum is 12 each for the base year only.

Trade Agreements apply in accordance with Clause 52.225-7021. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.

A Subcontracting Plan is required. Formal Cost and Pricing Data is not required. EEO clearance is not required as the dollar threshold has not been met. Progress Payments are not included as conditions at FAR 32.501-2(c) have not been met.
