MORTENSON METRO - ARLENE SCHNITZER CONCERT HALL ACOUSTICAL ENHANCEMENT Bids Due 2:00 pm, November 18, 2019 INVITATION TO BID Sealed bids for the Metro Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall Acoustical Enhancement Project (RFP 3711) will be received by Mortenson, sealed bids shall include One (1) paper copy and one (1) electronic version of the proposal in a sealed envelope addressed to: Mortenson Attn: Phil Cleaveland, RFP 3711, Mortenson Project #19055016 710 NW 14th Avenue, Suite 300 Portland, OR 97209 Bids will be received until the bid closing at 2:00p.m. on November 18th, 2019. M. A. Mortenson Company (OR CCB #46955) will hold the Subcontract Agree ment with the contractors successful in this bid process and will be the CM/GC on the project. Mortenson is an EOE / Affirmative Action / M / F / Veteran / Disa bled employer. The scopes of work for the project shall include electrical (including A/V integrator as a tier subcontractor), historic plaster, painting, acoustical panels and theatrical rigging (including an aesthetic stage shell). Mortenson's target goals for COBID Firm Utilization on the project is 20% and Minority Workforce Apprenticeship Utili zation target goal is 15%. In addition, Mortenson intends to align with Metro's subcontractor equity program on the project. Pre-bid meetings will be held on Wednesday October 30th, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. and at Tuesday November 5th, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall, Broadway Street Entrance 1037 SW Broadway, Portland, OR 97205. The Pre-Bid Meetings will be Mandatory for electrical subcontractors and strongly recommended for all other scopes of work. Electrical contractors are required to attend one of the two meetings and to arrive promptly as there will be a tour of the affected areas.
