This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the acquisition of Microbiology Analyzer in support of 72 MDG at Tinker AFB OK. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is FA8101-16-T-0012; the NAICS is 334516. The proposed award will be a FIRM FIXED PRICE contract.

This acquisition will be competed using a written Request for Quote (RFQ). All interested parties must provide a proposal package by the time specified below to the Government in order to be considered for award. Proposal packages shall include all data and information requested and shall be submitted via email in accordance with the instructions found in the provision at FAR 52.212-1 - Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items.  Note additional requirements in 52.212-2 - Evaluations - Commercial Items in paragraph (a) (i) and (a) (ii).  See attachments for Salient and Functional Characteristics. Additional Instructions to Offerors. Non-conformance with the instructions may result in an unfavorable proposal evaluation. All applicable provisions and clauses are located in the attached solicitation document.

This acquisition will utilize the Best Value technique to make an award decision. Please note that the Government DOES NOT intend to hold discussions; therefore, in order to be considered acceptable, the offeror must demonstrate a clear understanding of the required services as described in the attached Performance Work Statement.

Please note that the Government does reserve the right to not award the contract.

NOTICE TO OFFERORS: Any award resulting from this solicitation will include DFARS Clause 252.232-7003, Electronic Submission of Payment Requests. By submission of a proposal, the offeror acknowledges this requirement has been met and will be maintained throughout the life of any contract resulting from this solicitation up to and through the final payment of the contract.
