The DFAS ELAN Platform Engineering Team (EPET) provides world class support for the DFAS ELAN to customers across all locations. EPET is responsible for setting standards, developing new architectures, testing equipment (hardware, operating systems, components and application software). To continue EPET's mission requires acquiring key software components needed to test customer scenarios. These scenarios include testing server applications using desktop configurations which means the EPET must set up various environments based on Microsoft operating systems, office products, and other server components to provide the level of support and protection that is requested and expected. Microsoft's Premier Tech Support will provide the necessary technical input to be successful in this mission.
