(a) Description of Work-The MILL 872 Stewardship project is located in the Brush Creek-Hayden Ranger District of the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forests, southwest of Saratoga, Wyoming. Land management objectives for the project area are summarized as follows:
(1) Remove hazard trees along National Forest System roads.
(2) Provide for public, firefighter, and agency personnel safety along National Forest System roads.
(3) Reduce hazardous fuels along National Forest System roads.
(b) To accomplish these objectives, the contract includes the following components: roadside hazard and non-sawtimber felling, associated slash work; Forest Product removal and related work; and road maintenance.
(c) Contract-commercial services with requirements for timber removal.
