The work of this project includes: Construction of a 575,700 GSF bus operating and maintenance facility on an approximately 11 acre site in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Functions of the building include bus maintenance bays, fueling, washing, bus parking, administrative offices, and structured employee parking. The building construction is comprised of pile foundation system, cast in place concrete, structural precast concrete, architectural precast concrete, concrete masonry units, structural steel, metal framing, metal bar joints, metal decking, gypsum board on metal framing, and interior finishes. Sitework includes grading, bituminous paving, concrete paving, retaining walls, utilities, stormwater, and landscaping. Work includes make ready electric bus infrastructure to support fleet electrification.
