The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District is issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) solicitation to Modernize Base Fire Alarm System, New Hampshire Air National Guard, Pease Air National Guard Base, Newington, NH.

The NAICS code for this procurement is 238210. The estimated construction cost is between $1M and $5M.

The project is located at Pease Air National Guard Base in Newington, New Hampshire (Pease). The new fire alarm systems will be required to report by radio transmission to an existing Monaco D-21 Central Receiving System.

The major scope of items includes the following:Installation of new fire alarm system panels in 22 buildings, with new panels consisting of 17 Monaco MAAP-X type panels and five Monaco BT-XM type panels

• Reprograming of five existing Monaco MAAP-X panels in five buildings
• Installation of new initiating devices, notification devices and auxiliary devices
• Installation of new wiring, installation of antennas
• Programing and testing of installed equipment
• Removal of existing wiring, panels and devices

The project will require the participation of a Qualified Fire Protection Engineer (QFPE) for installation and testing of fire alarm panels in accordance with UFC 3-600-01.

Buildings will be occupied during performance of work under this Contract. A staging area will be made available to the Contractor.
