The Army has an immediate need for an interim modular holster system for use with the Modular Handgun System (MHS) M17 and M18 pistols in support of Program Manager - Soldier Clothing and Individual Equipment (PdM-SCIE) execution of a Conditional Material Release (CMR). This acquisition will be conducted as a non-competitive limited source, per FAR 6.302-1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), with contracts being awarded to the below contractors by 24 July 2017. Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contracts are anticipated. PdM-SCIE will procure an initial combined amount of 12,000 holster systems. Please note that the Government still intends to solicit and award a competitive follow-on action within the next 12 months to satisfy the quantities required beyond the CMR.
