The Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) Acquisition Management Department, Bethesda, MD on behalf of the MAIN OPERATING ROOM has awarded a sole source procurement to INTUITIVE SURGICAL, INC., for MONOPOLAR CURVED SCISSORS, LARGE NEEDLE DRIVER, AND FENESTRATED BIPOLAR FORCEP. (URGENT REQUIREMENT) The contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government has solicited and negotiated with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services satisfied the requirements. This notice of award is not a request for competitive price quotes. A determination by the Government not to request quotes was made and responses to this notice are solely within the discretion of the Government. Award was made using SAP.
