The Montgomery County Maryland Thanksgiving Parade is an annual, daytime event held on the Saturday before Thanksgiving Day in Silver Spring, Maryland. The 25th Annual Thanksgiving Parade is scheduled to occur, rain or shine, at 10:00 AM on November 18, 2023. Marching bands, service groups, mounted police, floats, dancers, clowns, and exhibitors travel the less-than 2-mile route on Georgia Avenue in approximately two hours. The parade has a 25+ year history and is generally heavily attended. The event is emceed by local news celebrities. At the 2019 event, there were over 110 parade units including 14 marching bands.
