Notice of Intent to Sole-Source: The 341st Contracting Squadron (CONS) – Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana intends to award on a sole-source basis a blanket purchase agreement to O’Connor Funeral Services, Inc. for mortuary services. The period of performance consists of a call period of five years estimated from 16 January 2020 through 15 January 2025. O’Connor Funeral Services is the only vendor capable of complying with Air Force Instruction 34-501 as a certified, vetted mortuary service contractor.

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and a solicitation will not be issued. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence of ability to provide necessary equipment, licensed funeral service practitioners, motor vehicles, professional services, supplies, death certificate, caskets, urns, outer shipping containers, transportation, death certificates, and hygienic practices for DoD Contractor Mortuary Services in accordance with AFI 34-501. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency for additional blanket purchase agreement considerations.  Award will be made without further notice.
