In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 15.201 "Exchanges with industry before receipt of proposals" this Presolicitation Notice is for information and planning purposes only at this time and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Defense. The CENTCOM-Joint Theater Support Contracting Command/Theater Contracting Center, Camp As Sayliyah, Qatar intends to issue a solicitation for a Firm-Fixed Price contract to purchase dual sport motorcycles for various bases regionally separated throughout Afghanistan. This acquisition will be Full and Open Competition. This acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 336991. This project consists of, but is not limited to the contractor providing all labor, material, plant, equipment and coordination required to provide, delivery, and warranty motorcycles built for dual-sport/purpose or off-road capabilities. These motorcycles are intended to provide individual transport between camps and stations under conditions of unimproved roads, mountainous terrain, and extreme climate conditions. The vehicle mission necessitates operational capability at low temperatures and hot desert conditions, as well as moderate altitudes.
