The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of members of both the Small and Large Business Community, to include Section 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone), and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to compete and perform a Firm-Fixed Price contract to provide Motorola Smartnet II Trunking System Maintenance Services.
The contractor would be required to maintain the Smartnet II land mobile radio infrastructure to include: response, diagnostic, maintenance and repair services in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement for a Base Year Plus Three Option Years.
Responses to this synopsis shall include a capabilities statement about the company detailing its size standard, ability to provide this type of service and the anticipated total price to complete this effort.
All submittals received will be reviewed for informational purposes. The acquisition strategy and type of contract, if a formal requirement is established, will depend upon the responses to this sources sought synopsis. The Government must ensure there is adequate competition among the potential pool of responsive contractors.
