The project consists primarily of constructing a structural steel trash rack in the inlet of the old Mounds Creek Culvert. This will involve some inlet channel excavations; the driving of H-piling; various steel fabricating and painting; and placement of filter material and riprap. There will also be riprap placed on the outlet side of the culvert to repair a scour in the outlet basin. The supplies or services to be procured in this solicitation are classified under NAICS 237990. To qualify as a small business concern, the concern must have had average annual receipts for the preceding three fiscal years not exceeding $31.0 million. This estimated cost of the proposed work is between $250,000.00 to $500,000.00. This project is advertised as a Service Disabled Veteran Set-Aside.
