The Supply Directorate, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Cherry Point, NC 28533 hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to Rotating Precision Mechanisms, 8750 Shirley Ave., Northridge, CA, 91324-3409. Market research has revealed this contractor is the only source capable of providing the items requested. Air Traffic Control (ATC) Maintenance, MCAS Cherry Point, NC has a requirement for the purchase of 4 each Moving Target Indicator (MTI) Reflectors, for the Marine Air Traffic Control Mobile Teams. The MTI, Model Series A170F must work with Xband 2.72.9K PMRF at 9.025; 9.125GHz and or Sband 1K PMRF at 2.7 to 2.9GHz Solar Power Module 1132301 (SB200) – HD Reflector Mounting System. The MTI will be used with AN/FPN-63 PAR radar set.The requested item is commercial in nature and will fall under the purview of commercial items in accordance with FAR Part 12. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
