This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found at FAR Part 13, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted only on FEDBIZOPPS.
The Solicitation number, N6449818KLM012. The proposed contract action is for commercial items, in accordance with the Requirements Statement. The Product Service Code (PSC) for this requirement is 4320. The NAICS code is 333914 and the Small Business Standard 750. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-97 and DFARS Change Notice 20180131. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Office intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract to NOV Inc. The proposed acquisition is to purchase two (2) Moyno 2000 pumps (P/N 3950096001) to support the refurbishment of VS-50 Oil-Water Separator, SCD 13325 abroad USS IWO JIMA (LHD). NOV Inc. has sole possession of the design, drawings, specifications, technical information and supporting documentation of the pumps. This action will result in a firm fixed-price (FFP) purchase order.
The awarded contract for the above requirement is for commercial supplies for which the Government will solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b).
Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to future similar requirements, however, this notice is not intended to be a request for competitive proposals from any source. The Government will not pay for information submitted in response to this notice.
