The Army Contracting Command-Redstone has a FY 2017 procurement for Gray Eagle MQ-1C Extended Range (ER) production hardware.  The FY 2017 procurement is anticipated to be a sole source, firm fixed price (FFP) modification to contract W58RGZ-13-C-0109.  This effort is anticipated to include the procurement of 20 each supplemental Gray Eagle MQ-1C ER aircraft (including containers), 20 each supplemental multi-band Satellite Communications (SATCOM) Air Data Terminals (SADTs) 9 each Universal Ground Control Systems (UGCS), and 9 each Universal Ground Data Terminals (UGDTs).  It is anticipated that the supplemental effort will be awarded in FY 2017. The estimated delivery schedule is thirty four months after date of award.  Authority Cited is 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(B) and 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(B)  entitled only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.  Justification and Approval applies to other than full and open competition basis.  This requirement is sole source to General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc., 14200 Kirkham Way, Poway, CA  92064.  This requirement is subject to the availability of funds.  Firms that recognize and can produce the required items described above are encouraged to identify themselves.  All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered.  The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation.  However, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above.
