One NSN is targeted for this LTC initiative for solicitation SPE4A6-18-R-0437. It is anticipated that the following part numbers will be requested for pricing for the initial contract award from the approved source manufacturers cited below:

Real Time, CAGE 62319, P/N 171374057C

The proposed action is intended to be awarded as Unrestricted, Other Than Full & Open Competition. The award effort for this acquisition is a 5 year Long Term Contract (LTC) initiative as validated during market research for this NSN.

The proposed contract will be awarded for a total of five years of performance to include a one year base year and four one year option periods. Letters expressing interest in subcontracting provided to the contracting officer will be forwarded to the identified OEM. This solicitation is proposed to be IAW FAR PART 15 for non-commercial items. The NSN cited above has been identified for this current action for the initial effort. If other NSNs are subsequently added, as defined by the terms of the contract, they will be synopsized separately.

This will be a sole source awarded contract provided no alternate offers are approved for this item. Procurement Notes L04 and M06 will be included in the solicitation for evaluation of an alternate offer. Best value selection methods will be used only if other sources are approved. The Government will award a single award contract for this action. The solicitation will be posted on Federal Business Opportunity (FBO) by March 31, 2018. The issue date will be March 31, 2018 and the closing date is April 30, 2018.

Higher Level Inspection IAW ISO 9000
Product Verification Testing
MIL-STD-129 markings in addition to special shipping instructions for MRAP
Certified cost and pricing data & subcontracting plan clauses and provisions will be included in the solicitation. CCPD and subcontracting plan will be requested along with the proposal.
Pricing will be requested for the Estimated Annual Demand (EAD) quantity of 240 each
Requested Delivery Schedule - 137 Days ARO for all five years
