Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC) has a services requirement for MTU engine courses of instruction (COI). The acquisition will be conducted in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Procedures at FAR 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services, will be utilized. This acquisition will not utilize any small business set-aside, due to the proprietary nature of the services. Any resulting request for quote (RFQ) will be sole sourced to MTU America Inc. of Novi, Michigan (CAGE: 72582). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 611519, and the small business size standard is $21M. The Government intends to award a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract, accommodating issuance of Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Task Orders. The Government will include the option provision at FAR 52.217-8. If exercised, the maximum term of the contract shall not exceed five years, six months. The estimated minimum contract value is the value of the first order issued and the estimated maximum contract value is $2,500,000.00.
