Description:
No telephone requests will be accepted. Direct your requests and communication to: ATTN: DLA-AHCA, Avery Winsett, Contract Specialist, via email [email protected]. This agency proposes to issue a solicitation for a long-term strategic/sole source contract which will include multiple NSNs to support the Patriot Missile weapon systems. A total of two (2) NSNs are targeted for this contract effort. The proposed sole source action will be issued to the Raytheon Company, Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE): 05716 and is intended to be on a sole source basis as supported by a J&A IAW FAR 6.302-1 “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements”. Items provided by the following Raytheon CAGE Codes are covered by this acquisition: 18876; 55717; 05716; 15090; 37695; 96214; 072E5; 2M191; 38150; 4U884; 7Y193; 00724; 06845; 49956; 5D832; and 9F358. The excel document with all the NSNs is attached to this file. The proposed requirement will be for a total of three (3) calendar years period of performance. The existing contract is a firm fixed price (FFP) corporate Indefinite- Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The attached list of NSNs are the items that have been identified for this current action. The letters expressing interest in subcontracting provided to the contracting officer will be forwarded to the identified OEM. This is proposed to be a FAR 15 effort. If other NSNs are subsequently added, as defined by the terms of the contract, they will be synopsized separately. These items are being added to contract SPRBL1-15-D-0017, awarded to Raytheon Cage: 05716 in accordance with the originally approved J&A. However, the NSNs identified here were not included in the list of original items synopsized for this effort. There are three (3) years remaining on this contract. The contract requires supply of parts, as well as other functions including but not limited to inventory management, forecasting, distribution, storage, reliability improvements, engineering maintenance and design control affecting these parts.
